Tech Arts

Every Thursday of  term 1 and 2 my class has been going to tech. Tech is when you go to a school that has special class rooms for sewing,wood work,cooking and bio tech (science). You get broken in to four groups.
Last term my group was in cooking. We had to design a cafe and then bring it to life for a day. My group's cafe was called ' Autum Breeze. ' (It was an orange theme.)
I was also in science,where we made a soap. We also made packaging for our soaps.When we were done making soap we also made paper. By ripping up other paper and mixing it in water for a little while.
This term I have been in sewing, The year 8 people made jerseys. Once we were done, we had a choice to make slippers,a soccer ball or a teddy bear. I made a cute teddy out of light pink fabric. I gave it cool eyes and made it a dress. Also in woodwork the year 8 people made torches,speakers and some cool key rings.
